BEGINNER

PADI Open Water - Rp7,900,000
3 DAYS / 4 DIVES

The first level on the diving license ladder! This is a popular, fully comprehensive diving course, comprising of videos, theory, pool sessions and 4 open water dives. Once completed, the license is life long and gives you the opportunity to continue your education and experiences with specialty courses or the advanced course.

PADI Scuba Diver - Rp6,000,000
2 DAYS / 2 DIVES

This course gives you a license that enables you to dive with a dive professional at any time too maximum of 12m. After completing the Discover Scuba dive, at any time throughout the briefing you decide to complete a little more theory, a further pool session and another open water dive to become certified to dive to 12m. At any point in the future you can very easily upgrade Scuba Diver to PADI Open Water diver.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving - Rp2,750,000
FULL DAY / 1 DIVE

To experience your first dive in the underwater world, we begin with a brief introduction to diving, a session in the pool to become comfortable with breathing and the equipment, and practice a few skills, then a dive in the open water, where you can see turtles and many of the beautiful tropical marine life of Indonesia.
This is in fact the first day of the Open Water and Scuba Diver course, so should you wish to continue, day 1 is already complete at no extra cost!

PADI Adventure Diver Course - Rp4,900,000
1 DAY

Do you have a PADI Open Water Certificate? But you are short on time to complete your PADI Advanced Open Water Course? This is the course for you. You with your instructor will explore the different aspects of the Advance course such as night dive, navigation & deep dives to 30 metres to name a few but all in 1 day. If you’d like to partake in deeper dives but don’t have enough time to complete the Advance Open Water Course, this course gives you a certificate to dive anywhere on the globe with PADI to 30 metres.

ADVANCED

PADI Advanced Open Water - Rp6,900,000
2 DAYS / 5 DIVES

After completing your PADI Open Water Course, you will want to continue your diving education with the PADI Adventure Diver or even the Advanced Open Water Course.
This course can be completed in 2 days and is designed to increase your confidence in the water. It involves the mandatory DEEP and NAVIGATION Dives, you are then able to choose your following 3 adventure dives to make the necessary 5 dives to certify as Advanced Open Water. The optional adventure dives can be chosen from the following:
Night Dive / Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive / Drift Dive / Fish Identification Dive / Naturalist Dive / Photography Dive / Nitrox Dive. Scallywag Dive instructors can help you to choose the dives most suited to you if you are not sure. However, we do recommend, DRIFT, NIGHT and PPB, after you dive in Indonesia you will understand why.
Upon completion of this course, you will be more comfortable underwater and have a better understanding of the aquatic world allowing you to dive up to 30 metres.

PADI Rescue Diver & EFR - Rp10,700,000
4 DAYS / 4 DIVES

This course is designed to give you the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent & deal with any problems or emergencies mainly related to diving, however completing the Rescue Course with the EFR Course gives you the knowledge you need to be able to assist anyone with a health emergency whether they are diving or not.
You will learn how to deal with stressful situations both under water and also on the surface in order to help save lives. The Rescue Diver Course is extremely rewarding and will ensure you feel more comfortable and in control when diving. After completing training exercises both in the swimming pool and in the ocean, scenarios are staged in order for you to test your skills and your ability to deal with them in the most efficient and successful way.
We will teach you how to search for missing divers, bring up an unconscious diver from the bottom of the ocean, and from the surface back to the boat or shore, whilst helping them breathe by providing rescue breathing. We will also teach you how to prevent most problems that can occur both under water and on the surface.
By the end of the course, you will have expanded your knowledge of diving, increased your level of diving skill and be more aware of what is happening in the diving environment. Most importantly, rescue training can help you to save lives and increase safety by preparing you to properly respond to diving emergencies.

Emergency First Responser - Rp2,750,000

EFR is a 1 day course, land based only. You are learning this course before you can undertake the PADI Rescue Dive Course or the PADI Dive Master Course. The skills you cover will help you deal with emergencies at sea or on land. Once you have completed this 1 day course giving you fundamental & very important skills you will be more aware & more confident to deal with any stressful situations that might arise.

PADI Rescue Diver Course - Rp9,000,000

Once you have completed your EFR course you will have 3 more days to continue on for your PADI Rescue Diver Course. The PADI Rescue Diver is the next step along the way to becoming a better, more confident diver with the ability to react to situations & deal with potential minor issues before they become serious. Become & better dive buddy with the ability to help a distressed diver. Also improving your navigational skills.

PADI Deep Specialty - Rp6,900,000
2 DAYS / 4 DIVES

Explore the wonders of the deep. Learn techniques for diving in the deeper ranges of 18-40 meters. After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts divers.

PADI Nitrox - Rp2,750,000
1 DAY / 2 DIVES

Stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. Learn how to dive using Enriched Air Nitrox. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air Nitrox gives you more ‘no decompression’ dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. By the end of the course, you will have expanded your knowledge of diving, increased your level of diving skill and be more aware of what is happening in the diving environment. Most importantly, rescue training can help you to save lives and increase safety by preparing you to properly respond to diving emergencies.

PADI Dive Master (PADI DM) - Rp28,000,000

The PADI Divemaster program at Scallywag divers isn’t just a course but an unforgettable experience. Let Scallywag Divers take you through your first level in professional diving and by the end of it give you a qualification that will enable you to work as a PADI Professional across the globe. You will become part of the Scallywag Divers family and have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

Prerequisites

Rescue certified and with 40 logged dives to enrol in this program.
Not there yet? No problem, we teach all courses right from complete beginner.
Our PADI Divemaster program covers all the theory needed to be a dive professional plus the knowledge, skills and basic understanding on how a dive operation is run. Below are just some of the things you will learn:
  • The science behind diving
  • How to guide underwater tours + group control
  • How to organise dive trips, the logistics involved with the responsibility as a dive leader
  • How to assist with students and certified divers
  • Learn the environmental conditions affecting diving
  • Equipment used in Scuba Diving, the basics and beyond
At the end of the PADI Dive master course you will be qualified to coordinate all diving logistics, guide certified divers on underwater tours and assist in the training of new divers.

How long does it take?

This course is run over a period of 4 – 6 weeks depending on experience.
At any one time, the most Divemaster trainees we take on is 4. This means the instructor team can provide you with1:1 tuition and the personal attention required, that will enable you to confidently progress and achieve your goal of becoming a dive professional.

Prerequisites

PADI Divemaster, or leadership level with another diver training organisation and with 60 logged dives; documented experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation. A certified diver for six months. Not yet a Divermaster, no problem, enrol on our Divemaster program and we take you all the way through to PADI Assistant Instructor.
The PADI Assistant Instructor course take your dive master training a step further, teaching you how to introduce new knowledge and skills independently, or with minimal supervision. It develops further on the knowledge you have already completed on the Divemaster program.
  • Provides practical experience in teaching knowledge and skill development portions of various PADI courses.
  • Learn to conduct open water dives for courses that can be independently taught.
  • Familiarises you with PADI Standards, administrative requirements and certification procedures.
  • Prepares you for additional PADI Instructor training.
  • Complete independent study through PADI IDC eLearning prior to beginning the course.

How long does it take?

This course is typically run over 4-5 days, and is performance based. After completing the course you are able to assist our Scallywag instructors more thoroughly on courses in any of our three locations, Gili Air, Gili Trawangan or Komodo, you are also enable to teach the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course and Project AWARE Speciality course independently.
