A pipe fitter welder from England along with his wife Jacky originally opened a small clothing store in a bamboo and alang alang oversized shack. With their dream of making Indonesia their home, they renovated the shack and changed it into a bar. This was then followed by a restaurant, serving predominantly seafood, from this the well recognised fishbone logo of Scallywags was born. With their cheeky and lovable personalities, Nigel and Jacky opened beach resorts in Gili Air, Gili Trawangan, Bali and have expanded their ever-growing business to a dive centre in Komodo; hand-building a custom made dive Lodge in Labuan Bajo. Nigel and Jacky’s family of Scallywags has grown exponentially since they first started.
